Ready? Set? Summer!!!!!

We have an action packed Summer planned this year.  It is going to be a whirlwind so hang on, here we go!

As the sun came out and school finished up we headed outdoors for some local scenery.

A special package arrived from Alaska!!  Probably the best part of  my Summer!   

Eris celebrated her 14th Birthday this June.  We had a big picnic at our local park.

She invited all her locals friends.

And for the first time our family from Alaska was able to celebrate with her. 

One of her gifts this year was getting to dye her hair.  She choose a beautiful shade of Blue!

Her big gift was a trip to Everfree Northwest.

A My Little Pony Convention.  It will be getting it's very own  blog entry, complete with pics and videos!

I am happy beyond words that my Best Friend and her family are relocating to Washington.  This pic is the first of many family dinners together!

I took the family to some of our favorite local sites.  First on the list was the Sturgeon Hatchery for my Nephew the Fishing enthusiast!

He and Beren have been inseparable.

The kids got a big kick out of feeding the fish in the ponds at the Hatchery.

After the hatchery we stopped by the Dam.  Beren and Emily were extremely fascinated by the Lamprey.  Beren called them vampire fish!  He stood there watching them for about 30min.

I love to hike and have been dying to explore some new trails.  So we drove out to Big Creek Falls Trail with the kids.

It does not disappoint.  It is a moderate hike with a big pay off, It made for a great afternoon.

Of course I had to take the kids to the Ape Caves!

We are having some incredible summer days and Hot weather.

Our last adventure for June was a trip to the Coast.
