Fabulous February!

This month started off with some cozy cat snuggles!!

The pets just LOVE to snuggle with Beren.  He is just SO snuggly!!

Eris had a very big month.  Her braces came off!!!

Here is a pic the day before the braces went on.

Here she is her first day in braces.

Last day of braces.

First day of no braces!!!

She was so excited.  We love our orthodontist.  They gave her a giant cupcake to celebrate, and took final photos.  While they were taking final photos they had her fill out a Thank You Card that I recieved in the mail the next week.  They did a great job and so did she.  She followed all of the instructions with out fail, and took really good care of her teeth the whole time and they came off right on time.  Good Job Eris!!

Beren's Cubscout Den went on a day trip to the Vancouver Fort.

The boys loved the Cannons,  and the look outs.

For Valentines Day the kids made their own pizzas.  Eris and I made Lava Cakes, although there wasn't any Lava.  They still tasted incredible!  And pink Shirley Temples, it was a nice quiet holiday with the kids.  I love celebrating all the holidays with fun little traditions.

Eris is in full Girlscout Cookie Sales mode.

She set a big goal this year, so we have been selling almost daily for 3 weeks.  She is already rethinking next years goal ;0)

Both Scouts had their biggest day this month back to back too.

Sunday was Cubscout Blue and Gold

It is a fun chance for the scouts to play games and spend time with each other in lieu of a monthly Pack Meeting.  Beren was really enjoying the fried chicken!!  I'm sure that has nothing to do with the vegan meals I have been serving at home ;)

Monday was Girlscout Thinking Day.  The Girlscouts take this time to explore other cultures and communities.

This year our Troop got to do Egypt!  Eris has wanted to do Egypt since she was a Daisy in Kindergarten.  They served dates, pita and hummus.  And Eris shared the pics we took at the King Tut exhibit we went to last year.

Eris is working very hard on her Girlscout Silver award.  She will finish it next month and I can't wait to share all the details with you.

The month finished with more,

Cat Snuggles!!!
